On October 16, 2018, a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control conducted an inspection at the White Mesa Uranium Mill. Results of the inspection were discussed with plant management at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted in the facility as they relate to compliance with Utah’s Radiation Control Rules and the conditions of the license. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measurements and observations by the inspector.
