Paul Wright <pwright@utah.gov> Cedar Highlands 0.5 MG Tank Project (Project #13637, System #11042) 1 message J. Paul Wright <pwright@utah.gov>Mon, Mar 4, 2024 at 4:06 PM To: Ryan LeBaron <ryan.lebaron@sunrise-eng.com>, Vern Maloy <vmaloy@sunrise-eng.com> Cc: Tracy Feltner <tracy@cicwcd.org> Ryan, I have reviewed the Cedar Highlands 0.5 MG and I have the following comments: 1) The “DRAFT” stamp needs to be removed from the plans and specs and submied and final/ready for construcon Tank 2) Are any of the other two tanks in this system going to be removed as part of this project? 3) Sheet PP2 shows the inlet, outlet and overflow locaons in the plan view. Each of these should have a note to indicate which one they are. Also, the outlet overflow appears to be shown in this view. I assume that the drain and overflow will be combined in the same drain locaon. This locaon should reference detail C on Sheet D3 (I assume) also to ensure it is done correctly. 4) Sheet ST3 shows the required slope of the roof but the floor slope is not indicated. This should also be noted in this detail. 5) The air vent pipe penetraon detail 310 on Sheet ST11 shall meet the following from the rule: (no curb is shown) Vent pipes, in addion to seepage rings, shall have raised concrete curbs that direct water away from the vent pipe and are formed as a single pour with the roof deck. 6) The air vent detail 310 on Sheet ST11 does not show how high above the covered tank surface it needs to be. This dimension should be added. 7) The access hatch details 307 and 308 needs to have enough detail to show the minimum requirements that it is raised up at least 4 inches above the concrete curb, with a 2-inch shoebox close fing downturn, lockable, and has a gasket on the underside with no penetraons through the hatch lid. Let me know if you have any questions. Paul -- J.
