RE: Ground Water Module 15 Inspection: 2025 Annual Shredder Facility Floor Inspection
Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No. UGW450005
Dear Mr. Rogers:
On June 12, 2025, an inspection was performed at EnergySolutions’ Clive site by representatives of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division). The inspection assessed
the maintenance and physical integrity of the Shredder facility floor as it relates to compliance with the conditions of the Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No. UGW450005 (Permit).
Results of the inspection were discussed with Nick Clarke and Mathew Schon at the conclusion of the Shredder inspection.
Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items observed and reviewed were found to be in compliance with the requirements of the Permit. The Division considers this
inspection closed.
