Director August 14, 2025 Utah State Parks North Region Bear Lake Park-North Eden Campground Attn: Richard Drosbeke 1594 West North Temple Suite 116 SLC, UT 84114 Subject: Initial Order for New Public Water System Closure for Bear Lake Park-North Eden Campground Water System UTAH17035 Dear Richard Drosbeke, On October 7, 2024, the Division of Drinking Water issued an Initial Order for New Public Water System (“NSO”) to Utah State Parks North Region for Bear Lake Park-North Eden. As of July 30, 2025, Bear Lake Park-North Eden Campground has successfully completed the requirements listed in the NSO. The NSO is now officially closed. The water system’s rating will remain at an Approved status with 60 Improvement Priority System (IPS) points. The Division of Drinking Water recognizes that addressing the requirements for being a public water system can seem complex. We would like to thank Bear Lake Park-North Eden Campground for the efforts put forth in meeting these requirements and resolving any outstanding items. Thank you for your continued commitment to maintaining reliable infrastructure and for ensuring the safety of the drinking water provided to your consumers. If there is anything we can do to support you in your role of protecting public health, please contact us. Sincerely, Nathan Lunstad, Ph.D., P.E.
