Receipt The samples were received on 8/15/2025 9:05 AM.Unless otherwise noted below, the samples arrived in good condition, and, where required, properly preserved and on ice.The temperature of the cooler at receipt time was 5.3°C. Receipt Exceptions The container label for the following sample did not match the information listed on the Chain-of-Custody (COC):9A (280-212005-1).The container labels list 9A Leachate, while the COC lists 9A.Logged per COC. The client confirmed via email on 8/19/25 that total 8260D,8270E and metals are the only analyses required for the samples. Method 8260D -Volatile Organic Compounds by GC/MS Samples 9A (280-212005-1)and 357 (280-212005-2)were analyzed for Volatile Organic Compounds by GC/MS.The sampleswereanalyzedon8/19/2025. Supplementary spike compounds were intentionally omitted during the extraction process for the matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate (MS/MSD)due to co-elution issues;therefore, recoveries are unavailable for the following compounds:Propionitrile,2- chloro-1,3-butadiene,methacrylonitrile,and methyl methacrylate.Insufficient volume is remaining to prepare a separate MS/MSD for supplementary spike compounds. The associated laboratory control sample (LCS)and LCSD met acceptance criteria for accuracy and precision. The associated samples are: (280-211876-D-3 MS)and (280-211876-D-3 MSD). The matrix spike duplicate (MSD)recoveries for analytical batch 280-709624 were outside control limits for one or more analytes. See QC Sample Results for detail.Sample matrix interference and/or non-homogeneity are suspected because the associated laboratory control sample (LCS)recovery is within acceptance limits. The associated sample is:(280-211876-D-3 MSD). The continuing calibration verification (CCV)associated with batch 280-709624 recovered above the upper control limit for 2- Butanone (MEK),Acetone,Acrylonitrile,Chloroethane and Vinyl acetate. The samples associated with this CCV were non-detects for the affected analytes;therefore, the data have been reported. The associated samples are:9A (280-212005-1),357 (280-212005-2)and (CCV 280-709624/2). The following compounds were outside control limits of 20%D in the continuing calibration verification (CCV)associated with batch 280-709624:Iodomethane.This compound is considered a poor performer and has recovered within LCS/LCSD limits. The following samples are affected:9A (280-212005-1),357 (280-212005-2)and (CCV 280-709624/2). The laboratory control sample (LCS)for analytical batch 280-709624 recovered outside control limits for the following analytes: Vinyl acetate. These analytes were biased high in the LCS and were not detected in the associated samples;therefore, the data have been reported. The associated samples are:9A (280-212005-1),357 (280-212005-2)and (LCS 280-709624/4). Method 8270E -Semivolatile Organic Compounds (GC/MS) Samples 9A (280-212005-1)and 357 (280-212005-2)were analyzed for Semivolatile Organic Compounds (GC/MS).The samples were prepared on 8/21/2025 and analyzed on 8/22/2025. Internal Standard (ISTD)retention times for the following sample was outside the acceptance criteria of +/-0.17 minutes from the mid-point of the initial calibration:(CCVIS 280-710404/3).The sample(s)were within +/-0.17 minutes from the daily calibration verification;therefore,no corrective action was required per the laboratory's SOP. Samples 9A (280-212005-1)[5x]and 357 (280-212005-2)[5x]required dilution prior to analysis. The reporting limits have been adjusted accordingly. The interference check standard solution (ICSA)associated with batch 280-710730 had results for one or more elements at a level greater than 2 times the limit of detection (LOD).The following are the affected analytes:Cr.The vendor acknowledges that these elements are trace impurities in the ICSA standard. These results are not indicative of a matrix interference. The following samples for metals were received unpreserved and were preserved upon receipt to the laboratory:9A (280-212005-1)and 357 (280-212005-2).Regulatory documents require a 24-hour waiting period from the time of the addition of the acid preservative to the time of digestion.Samples were run before 24 hours of preservation had been reached. The interference check standard solution (ICSA)associated with batch 280-710823 had results for one or more elements at a levelgreaterthan2timesthelimitofdetection(LOD).The following are the affected analytes:Cr. The vendor acknowledges that these elements are trace impurities in the ICSA standard. These results are not indicative of a matrix interference. The following samples were diluted due to the nature of the sample matrix:9A (280-212005-1)and 357 (280-212005-2).Elevated reporting limits (RLs)are provided. The following samples were diluted due to the presence of Li which interferes with Ag:9A (280-212005-1)and 357(280-212005-2).Elevated reporting limits (RLs)are provided. Method 7470A -Mercury (CVAA) Samples 9A (280-212005-1)and 357 (280-212005-2)were analyzed for Mercury (CVAA).The samples were prepared on 8/20/2025 and analyzed on 8/21/2025.
