Gurr Environmental Engineer EnergySolutions, LLC 299 South Main Street, Suite 1700 Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 RE:Request for approval to use/reuse radiologically contaminated equipment at the Clive Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Facility, Radioactive Material License UT2300249 Dear Mr.Gurr: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (WMRC) has reviewed your CD2025-101letterrequesting use/reuse of several tankers received from the Bear Creek Facility at the Clive Facility and all other documentation associated with the request, including subsequent radiological survey data. The WMRC is satisfied with the steps EnergySolutions has taken to minimize any uncontrolled radiological exposure from this equipment. Four of the five tankers cited in your CD2025-101letter have been approved for reuse. They are listed as follows: ESUU600101 “Buford” ESUU600097 “Guernsey” ESUU600099 “Elsie” ESUU600102 “Lil Lucy” Tanker ESUU600098 “Flossie”, is not approved for reuse at this time pending further evaluation. The approved tankers may be used in accordance with site procedures and your Radioactive Materials License UT2300249 at the Clive Facility.
