Also, Piuta MIA Camp: 26046 needs to be listed as never having been on this year. Jake did exercise the water system but there hasn’t been any campers or missionaries onsite and the water system has not been used. He did take a BacT sample while he was checking the system out but didn’t perform a start-up plan since the camp wasn’t opening. Can you make this change as well and remove that start-up violation on this system? I am including David in this email as well since he is over the Nitrate sampling. David, there were some samples mismarked for Red Spur 03117 that were meant to be marked for Little Lyman 22045, one was a total coliform sample on July 28th and the other was a nitrate sample. Are you good with the change being made? Marie, side note, would you like us to inactive the Little Lyman Lake water system? With the information provided about the fire, I wanted to make sure. Thank you both. On Thu, Aug 14, 2025 at 1:09 PM Marie Elizabeth Owens <mowens@churchofjesuschrist.org> wrote: Sitara, What are your thoughts on this situation? If you are ok with changing the sample location based on Jake’s explanation below, I will forward your email to the lab and have them make the change. I had Kevin go pull samples at red spur on July 29 at 10:20 and 10:30 am.this is reflected on the attached chain of custody. I talked with the lab and they said with the states permission they can amend the sample record to allow for the mistake that was made. The forest service has the area of the camp closed due to a forest fire right now, we are unsure when we will have access again to the camp.
