Paul Wright <pwright@utah.gov>Tue, Jul 22, 2025 at 8:28 AM To: Chad Coffey <chad.c@jonesanddemille.com> Cc: Chad Sonderegger <chad.s@jonesanddemille.com> Chad, I have reviewed the plans for the Country Club 2 MG Tank and have the following comments: 1) Remove “Review – Not for Construction” from the cover sheet 2) There were no specifications submitted. It appears that is being done withnotes for most items throughout the drawing package. However, I did not see anynotes showing the requirements for leak testing nor disinfection of tank. Those needto be added. 3) There are no disinfection nor pressure testing requirements for the pipelinesshowing in the notes. I know they refer to the City of St George StandardSpecifications, but those have lapsed at this point so I want to be sure thoserequirements still meet the Division of Drinking Water requirements. 4) Since PVC pipe is being used, trench detail K5 on Sheet C-501 needs to show¾” minus soil material for the pipe zone material. 5) The inlet and outlet are very close to each other in the tank. To promote mixingand circulation, I assume the 45-degree bend on Detail D9, Sheet S-501 will beturned away from the outlet. This should be clarified on one of the details to ensurethat is how they install it. (b) Inlet and outlet pipes shall be configured to provide mixing and circulation. 6) The access hatch is shown to be an EJ model H48963707 but there are nodimensions that show a minimum 2-inch shoebox downturn with it raised a minimumof 4 inches from the concrete, (Details G5 and G9 on sheet S-501). Can you confirmthis model will meet these requirements or show these dimensions to ensure that willbe the case? 7) On detail A13, Sheet S-501, the #14 screen on the air vent needs to be UNDERnot OVER the ½” Stainless Steel screen (the larger screen is meant to protect thefiner #14 mesh screen). Let me know if you have any questions.
