Any comments on this boil order? I already mentioned changing the boiling time to 5 min.

David, as we discussed on the phone, North Valley Ranches (#27086) had an E. coli positive routine sample followed
by 3 E. coli positive repeat samples. Subsequent follow-up samples resulted in 5 more E. coli positive samples.
Samples from the well and the storage tank were negative for E. coli and total coliform. To this point you have
batch chlorinated your storage tank and flushed the system, as well as verbally notified the 32 homes on the system to
boil their water.
As we discussed, you need to issue an official boil order ASAP. Here is a template you can use. The first page is
instructions, the second page is the notice you will post after filling in the specifics for your system.
Once you have completed the notice, send the finished version back for DDW approval before posting.
