Dear Mr. Schon:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (the Division) hereby confirms the receipt of EnergySolutions’ notification (DRC-2025-00380/CD-2025-018) in regard to the completion
of roof repairs to the SRS DU Storage Building.
The Division finds the repairs to the roof and preventative measures put in place at the SRS DU Storage Building roof are satisfactory and in accordance with the Permit. The Division
also recognizes that with the lack of recent significant precipitation at the site, the adequacies of the roof repair has not beenconfirmed. The Division will monitor this situation
when precipitation occurs in the near future.
