Dear Zachary Renstrom: The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received the following documents on June 23, 2024. Plan review comments were sent to you on June 30, 2025. The revised and complete Water Line Installation Standards were submitted on July 31, 2025: The 2025 water line installation drawings and specifications for water systems owned and operated by the Washington County Water Conservancy District, stamped and signed by Brie N. Thompson, P.E., and dated July 31, 2025. The completed application form signed by Whit Bundy and dated June 20, 2025, which formally designates: Whit Bundy, P.E., as the Professional Engineer (PE) having direct responsibility for the design of the entire water system, and Whit Bundy, P.E., as the PE responsible for oversight of the hydraulic analysis of the entire water system. We completed our review of the Washington County Water Conservancy District 2025 Water Line Standards and Specifications, and find they basically comply with the applicable portions of Utah's Rules for Public Drinking Water Systems in R309-550. On this basis, the Washington County Water Conservancy District 2025 Water Line Standards and Specifications are hereby approved. All of the water systems owned and operated by the Washington County Water Conservancy District, listed below, have met the criteria in R309-500-7 to install water lines up to 16 inches in diameter and are not required to obtain Plan Approval or an Operating Permit for the qualified water line projects. This approval does not apply to booster pump stations. 2. If minimum separation between water and sewer lines cannot meet the requirements in R309-550-8, an exception must be obtained prior to water line construction.This Approval expires on December 31, 2030. You must notify the Division if there is a change to standard installation drawings and specifications or the designated P.E. for design or hydraulic analysis during the term of this Approval. To continue using standard installation drawings and specifications for water transmission and distribution lines after the expiration date, you must submit a complete renewal application to the Division.Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
