Re: KCWCD Clark Bench Water System, System #13060, SRF #3F1853A
Dear Mr. Wright,
This letter is being submitted to officially request an operating permit for the KCWCD -
Clark Bench Water System Improvements Project.
The Contract Record Drawings (CRDs) are included. The CRDs have also been delivered
to KCWCD.
Following plan approval, the only significant changes to the project were the addition of
245 feet of pipeline on the southern end of Clark Bench Road shown on WTR3.
Additional meters have also been added along with the relocation of fire hydrants.
There were also minor horizontal or vertical adjustments to avoid utilities. The building
has been designed to accommodate chlorination if needed but the chlorination
equipment was not installed. All these changes are shown in the included project
Contract Record Drawings.
All changes on the project are in conformance with applicable sections of the Utah
Administrative Code (UAC), namely R309-500 through R309-550
In accordance with UAC R309-500-9, I certify that all conditions of plan approval
(conditions letter dated July 5, 2022) applicable to the completed improvements for the
KCWCD – Clark Bench Water System Improvements project, have been accomplished.
Flushing and disinfection of the distribution lines have also been completed. The results
of the Bac-T tests accompany this letter. As you know the project included the 200,000-
gallon concrete tank. Flushing and disinfection of that tank has been completed, and
test results are included with this letter.
