I appreciate the chance to speak with the working group today. Credit to you and your team for your interest in the
project. As requested, please find my presentation attached.
I do hope the information is helpful and would also like to reiterate that my team has seen no data suggesting this site is
impacting the Great Salt Lake. I also believe the cleanup will actually provide more protections overall, as the waste in
the new repository will be capped with a more up to date system as outlined in the cleanup plan. On a larger scale, the
VCP applicants are in the process of off-site sampling and I anticipate the impacts will be defined as I noted on the call.
Arsenic is ubiquitous and not necessarily all related to the site. The additional information gathered will be used to help
develop a remedy and management strategy for areas outside the current phase I work.
