Subject: WECCO Evaporation Pond #2 Approval to Use
Dear Mr. Edwards:
The Division of Water Quality (“Division”) issued a Construction Permit for theWECCO Evaporation Pond #2on October 7, 2024. The construction has been completed and a Certification Report
prepared by GEM Engineering, Inc.was received on June 23, 2025. TheCertification Report was signed and stamped by Robert W. Corry, P.E. a Utah certified Professional Engineer (P.E.).

The Division has completed the review of that Certification Report and everything looks good.
A final inspection of the pond was completed on May 16, 2025. At that time the fencing around the pond had not been installed. It has now been completed and Mr. Edwards sent photos
of that fencing.
Based on the final inspection and the review of theCertification Report, DWQ approves the use of theWECCO Evaporation Pond #2.
