Potentially Contaminated Liquid between 95 and 97 Ponds

Dear Mr. Hansen,

EnergySolutions herein provides the Director of the Division of Waste Management and
Radiation Control with 24-hour notification of approximately 1,000 gallons of potentially
contaminated liquids flowing from the lift station between the 95 and 97 Ponds within the
Restricted Area on February 2, 2024. The Contingency Plan was implemented and clean up began
immediately.

The Clive Facility received approximately 0.37 inches of precipitation beginning in the morning
of February 2, 2024. A sample of the liquid was collected and sent for onsite Gamma
Spectroscopic analysis. Results will be provided in the 7-day follow-up notification.

A Condition Report is being generated to track actions associated with this issue. Should there be
