Joe,
Salt Lake City would like to use the area shown below as a temporary staging area for large rocks for an erosion project under the North Temple overpass at the Jordan River. I don’t anticipate
earthwork/soil excavation as part of the staging. Because this is part of the VCP Area A, do you have any concern with PacifiCorp allowing Salt Lake City to use this property temporarily for th
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
Please see the email below from Mark Stephens with Salt Lake City.
I know this area (south of the parking lot off N Temple) is part of the voluntary clean up plan effort, and that we need to ensure compliance with that plan. Is there an area we would provide on
temporary basis for the city’s contractor?
Thanks,

Michael,
I have a project that I’ve got a quick turnaround for the Mayor’s office doing erosion control underneath the N. Temple bridge over the Jordan River. The contractor is going to be using th
Trailhead parking area for some staging but in order to stage larger boulders for a month or less starting next week, having the turnaround on RMP’s property just to the south for large tr
trailer loads to turn around and possible storage of rock for a month or less would be extremely helpful.
We would be looking to start this in approximately a week. Is this something that we could coordinate in the next week or so? Would RMP be amenable to allowing the City’s contractor t
and turn around on the property? I put a screenshot below to show the subject RMP property on the SW corner of the N. Temple/Jordan River crossing. It might be more helpful to discu
the phone so feel free to give me a call for any clarification. It’s a fast-tracked project.
Respectfully,
MARK A. STEPHENS, P.E.
