Closure

A. PROHIBITIONS

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. 551 and 36 CFR 261.50, the following acts are prohibited in the area described in this Order, located within the Pine Valley Ranger District, Dixie National Forest, which is closed for safety due to wildland fire:
It is prohibited to go into or be upon the area, and trails and roads described below, which are closed for the protection of Public Health and Safety. 36 CFR 261.52(e), 36 CFR 261.55(a), 36 CFR 261.54(e), and 36 CFR 261.53(e) B. EXEMPTIONS Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(e), the following are exempt from this order. 1. Persons with a permit specifically exempting them from the effect of this Order.

2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty. C. AREA DESCRIBED Area Closure: The area closed by this Order is depicted on the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A, which is incorporated herein by reference, and is generally described as: An area of National Forest System land within the Forsyth Fire perimeter and areas and
trails that access the Forsyth Fire on the Pine Valley Ranger District.
Area Closure: Starting at Comanche Trail (31011) and private property boundary/New Harmony, then along Comanche Trail (31011), then along Summit Trail to Upper Grants Ranch Trail, then along private property boundary, then cross country to junction of road 014 and 009,
then along road 014, then along road 346, then cross country to road 011, then along road 011, then along road 035, then along road 022, then cross country to road 829, then along road 829, then along road 1032, then along Goat Springs Trail (31016), then along private property boundary, then along road 033, then cross country to road 032, then along road 032, then cross country to BLM boundary, then along BLM boundary, then along State boundary, then along

BLM boundary, then along private property boundary, and ending at the junction of Comanche Trail (31011) and private property boundary/New Harmony.
D. PURPOSE The purpose of this Order is to protect public health and safety during the Forsyth Fire and post fire containment. E. IMPLEMENTATION 1. This Special Order implementing Area Closure Restrictions is effective on Saturday, June 22, at 12 P.M. and shall remain in effect until July 31, 2025 or until rescinded, whichever is sooner. 2. Exhibit A, Map, Definitions are attached and incorporated into this ORDER. Violation of these prohibitions is punishable as a class B misdemeanor, by a fine of not more than $5000.00 for an individual or $10,000.00 for an organization and/or imprisonment of not more than 6 months [Title 16 USC 551, 18 USC 3571(b)(6), Title 18 USC 3581 (b)(7)].
