RE: Review of EnergySolutions' 2024 Clive Facility Annual Meteorological Monitoring Report;
Groundwater Module 9 Inspection, Ground Water Quality DischargePermit, No. UGW450005.
Dear Mr. Schon:
This letter is to inform you thatrepresentatives of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control(Division) have reviewed the 2024 Annual Meteorological Monitoring Report (prepared
by Trinity Consultants) in accordance with Part 1.H.10 of Ground Water Quality DischargePermit, No. UGW450005 (Permit) submitted on February 24, 2024 (DRC-2025-000649, CD-2025-039).
The inspection assessed monitoringactivities and meteorological conditionsat the Clive site as required by the conditions of the Permit.
Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items reviewed were found to be in compliance with the requirements of the Permit. However, the Division again requests that
future reports prepared by Trinity Consultants and supplied by EnergySolutionsinclude all raw data and specific values used in the development of graphs, tables and figures presented
in the final report; such as in the case of Figure 4.2 of the 2024 Meteorological Monitoring Report, requested in the subsequent Request For Information dated April 17, 20205 (DRC-2025-001067).
