Comment The Permit (DSHW-2019-008784) was reviewed. The facility is permitted to
accept C&D waste, yard waste, inert waste, waste tires, and dead animals.
At least a minimum of 6 inches of soil cover is to be applied monthly and
recorded in a cover log. Dead animals are to be covered daily with a
minimum of 6 inches of soil.

Comment The 2024 Annual Report was submitted and reviewed. 99.9% of the waste
received came from Summit County and 0.01% of the waste received came
from Weber County. Total Materials Received is noted to be 16,237.00
tons. The facility paid $3,409.77 in disposal fees.

Comment The 06/16/2023 Inspection Report and Letter were reviewed. Issues noted
included the acceptance of unpermitted waste such as furniture and
mattresses. Clearly marked signage should be readily available for landfill
users and landfill staff should be trained on waste acceptance criteria.

green waste will be chipped and turned into mulch in the near future. Dead
animals are buried upon arrival at the working face. Roads are well

working face. The Waste Tire Recycling Act (The Act) prohibits the

General Comments
Comments The facility maintains signage at the front entrance that does not clearly
display an emergency contact number of unacceptable materials. Several
waste tires were observed along the working face. Cover logs are not
maintained. Large green waste piles were observed. However, the green
waste piles will be chipped and turned into mulch in the near future. Waste
is covered weekly and dead animals are covered upon arrival. Records are
kept in the scale house. Random inspections are being conducted.
Quarterly inspections are being conducted.
