Re: Compliance Advisory, No Further Action – SM Energy Company – Betts 2-26B1

On April 22, 2025, the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) sent the SM Energy Company - Betts
2-26B1 a Compliance Advisory (DAQC-CA155700001-25) for potential violations of the Utah
Air Quality Rules. On May 14, 2025, the SM Energy Company submitted additional information
that resolved the potential violations outlined in the Compliance Advisory referenced above.
Based on the additional information provided to the DAQ, no further action is required at this
time. Please be aware that closure of this Compliance Advisory does not constitute a bar to
enforcement action for conditions found during other inspections.
