Following our conversation, I connected with Jake Dodds regarding the water situation at the Navajo Lake system (UTAH13061). We discussed that if the chlorinator is currently not functioning, a public notice will be required. It is acceptable for the water system to remain on for toilet flushing purposes; however, Jake emphasized the importance of providing a location where individuals can wash their hands with clean water. Attached to this email, you’ll find the necessary templates and instructions to complete the required documentation. Please review and return the completed forms by replying to this email chain (click "Reply All"). Included Attachments: 1. Boil Advisory Template – A sample to help guide you in drafting your own boil order notice. Use this document or the template and follow the instructions. 2. Boil Order PN (Public Notice Template) – Fill out this template with your system’s information and submit it for our review and approval. 3. Division of Drinking Water Boil Order Instructions – Provides comprehensive guidance on boil order procedures, including approved methods of public notification. The certification form is located on page 3 of this document. 4. Certification for Boil Order – A separate copy of the certification form mentioned above, provided for easier submission after customer notification has occurred.
