(Kleinfelder) complete the enclosed Work Assignment (WA) GQJ-89-Klein, under Contract #216378. The WA requests that Kleinfelder evaluate one groundwater monitoring well (MW) and two vent wells 0/Ws) at the subject site and provide a report of findings. Enclosed is a copy of the WA and tasks to be completed. Please sign electronically and submit to the DERR. (Kleinfelder) is requested to complete the following Work Assignment (WA): I. WORK OBJECTIVE: The work objective is for the discovery of and exposure of the MW-27, VW-16, and VW- 13 vaults, prior to the abandonment efforts scoped for 2024, and to provide a report of findings. II. TASKS: The Division of Environmental Response and Remediation (DERR) has identified the following tasks which follows Kleinfelder's work plan and price submitted on February 8, 2024: A. Site Inspection for Well Discovery Cost: $ 4,228.88 B. Report of Findings Cost: $1,051.00 Total Cost: $ 5,279.88 III. PRICE AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A. The expense to the DERR for completing this WA shall not exceed $5,279.88, including administrative costs, contract management, project management, and all other associated costs. B. Payment requests shall be submitted when tasks are completed, as outlined in the Deliverable and Payment Schedule. IV. SCHEDULE FOR COMPLETION OF WORK AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: A. The DERR has set a start date of March 2024 for the above-referenced tasks. Kleinfelder is required to provide a draft vapor monitoring report within 30-days of the work outlined above. B. After the DERR has reviewed and commented on the draft report, Kleinfelder will be required to provide a final vapor monitoring report within 10 days of receipt of any DERR comments.
