(Anfield), dated February 23, 2025 (DRC-2025-000789). In accordance with License Conditions 12.2 and Utah Administrative Code R313- 24, which incorporates 10 CFR 40.65, the Report quantified the amount of each of the principal radionuclides released to unrestricted areas in liquid and in gaseous effluents during the previous six months. Gaseous effluents were measured via air sampling. DWMRC Division Staff reviewed the sampling methodology and compared the effluent monitoring results with the effluent concentration limits found in 10 CFR 20 Appendix B Table 2 for Natural Uranium and for Radium-226. Liquid effluents are monitored under Anfield’s Groundwater Discharge Permit (UGW170003). Anfield reported no constituents in the approved monitoring program exceeded any of the Groundwater Quality Standards. These results will be reviewed further during the Division’s review of Anfield’s Semi-Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report, received on March 4, 2025 (DRC-2025-000788). Based on our review of the Report, the DWMRC Division has no findings, and the Shootaring Canyon Mill is compliant with this the requirements found in License Conditions 12.2 and Utah Administrative Code R313-24.
