There is now three years of data there. I also have weekly grab samples of Source inflow via a 5 gallon bucket. If you want those let me know. I don’t remember what we decided. Currently they are a seasonal system operating around Memorial Day to sometimes the end of October Let me now what you think or if you want data differently. Everything on the water use report is from meter readings Steve Danielle Zebelean <dzebelean@utah.gov>Mon, Mar 31, 2025 at 10:36 AM To: steve@canyonwater.com Excellent! Thank you Steve. It does not look like Brandon has published your 2024 data yet so I will check back in on this later in the week in order to send you a draft. Dani Zebelean, P.E. It does not look like he put in the peak day for 2022. Do you happen to have this information that you can add to the report? I'd also like to meet with Brandon and have you fill out a return flow 5/22/25, 9:20 AM State of Utah Mail - Mt HAven Water Usage https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ik=82c167e5f1&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f:1827792821540330460&simpl=msg-f:182779282154033046…1/4 from the tank so that it is taken out of the calculations. Right now you're showing a storage requirement of 1,808 and that's just not real since the overflows are being taken into account. Also what happened in October 2024 that your spring produced 17 acre-ft? Dani Zebelean, P.E. If I remember right it’s 16450 GPD around 7/11. I’ll check. In October (and other months as well) Rocky Mountain Power was burying power lines and repeatedly ripped through the water lines. The source shows a lot of production then because they would drain the tank and it took a while to fill them back up. You might want to get all your questions together and I can sit in front of my computer and answer them. I also have the amount of water that is treated to the tank and the distribution which you already have. Sitting down and thinking through what you really need to get this set and the deficiency taken care of. I am adding Brandon to this conversation since we will want to set up a meeting with him. Some of the data we need: The 2022 peak day I'd also like to discuss with Brandon if we could get a return flow set up so that the overflow into the creek is not taken into account in your sizing standard. Brandon correct me if I am wrong but it is ok for that to be a calculation between two meters without having its own meter correct? Also do you have more data than what you send to Brandon for the spring yield? Using the data reported to Brandon it only shows you having 4.6 gpm for the safe yield. 5/22/25, 9:20 AM State of Utah Mail - Mt HAven Water Usage https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ik=82c167e5f1&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f:1827792821540330460&simpl=msg-f:182779282154033046…2/4 I've attached an updated report without the variability factor as allowed by our policy that is much more palatable than the first one I sent to you. Steve, will you let me know about how long it will take you to get that data? Then we can look for a time that works for us all. Dani Zebelean, P.E. Haven. One thing: When the Tanks are not filling the system goes back to the creek and that is not counted in Source capacity ( I think it probably should be) What do you think? Then we can talk about all the differences in the Distribuon side due to leaks and tank filling Steve [Quoted text hidden] MTH Flows and Levels.xlsx 150K Danielle Zebelean <dzebelean@utah.gov>Tue, Apr 29, 2025 at 11:52 AM To: Steve McIntosh <Steve@canyonwater.com> I also agree that you should have that count towards the source capacity so long as the contract with Salt Lake City does not limit you on a gpm that you can take from the spring. My guess is the contract is more about the total volume of water. Using the data provided the 25th percentile of the flows would be 19.86 gpm using 2022-2024 data. That seems a lot more reasonable to me. 5/22/25, 9:20 AM State of Utah Mail - Mt HAven Water Usage https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ik=82c167e5f1&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f:1827792821540330460&simpl=msg-f:182779282154033046…3/4 Dani Zebelean, P.E.
