This Approval expires on June 30, 2030.
Dear Dennis Barnes:
The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received the following documents on March 17, 2025:
The 2025 water line installation drawings and specifications for Santaquin City, stamped and signed by Jon Lundell, P.E., and dated May 6, 2025.
The completed application form signed by Jon Lundell and dated May 6, 2025, which formally designates:
Jon Lundell, P.E., as the Professional Engineer (PE) having direct responsibility for the design of the entire water system, and
Jon Lundell, P.E., as the PE responsible for oversight of the hydraulic analysis of the entire water system.
We completed our review of the 2025 water line installation drawings and specifications, and find they basically comply with the applicable portions of Utah's Rules for Public Drinking
Water Systems in R309-550. On this basis, Santaquin City 2025 water line installation drawings and specifications are hereby approved.
Santaquin City has met the criteria in R309-500-7 to install water lines up to 16 inches in diameter and is not required to obtain Plan Approval or an Operating Permit for the qualified
water line projects.
Please note the following restrictions to this approval:
1. This approval does not apply to booster pump stations.
2. If minimum separation between water and sewer lines cannot meet the requirements in R309-550-8, an exception must be obtained prior to water line construction.This Approval expires
on June 30, 2030. You must notify the Division if there is a change to standard installation drawings and specifications or the designated PE for design or hydraulic analysis during
the term of this Approval. To continue using standard installation drawings and specifications for water transmission and distribution lines after the expiration date, you must submit
a complete renewal application to the Division.Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
