It takes approximately 45 minutes for the existing feed to run through the kiln and another 45 minutes for the kiln to cool. Startup takes anFother 1.5 - 2.0 hours. Feed is not reintroduced to the kiln until after the baghouse has been brought back online. Because the opacity is monitored daily and because the baghouse is always repaired within 24 hours of observing any visible emissions, the opacity does not approach l0 o .
