RE: 40 CFR 63 Subpart GGGGG - 2'd Half 2024 Semiannual Compliance Report
Chevron Products Company - Salt Lake Refinery
Dear Mr. Bird:
Chevron Products Company - Salt Lake Refinery (Chevron) hereby electively submits a2d Half 2024 semiannual

40 CFR 63 Subpart GGGGG was updated via final rulemaking on December 20,2022 ("final rule"). Previously, the
rule included various RCRA and CERCLA exemptions such that if site remediation activities were performed for one
of those purposes, they were exempt from additional requirements within 40 CFR 63 Subpart GGGGG;those
exemptions applied at the refinery. Pursuant to the final rule, EPA removed the RCRA and CERCLA exemptions
within the rule. Per $63.7883(g)(l), the compliance date is June 24,2024. This report covers operations from July l,
2024 through December 31,2024.
Chevron is subject to the requirements of $63.7881(c) and (c)( I ), which exempt site remediation activities from
requirements within the rule. To qualifi for exemption, the total quantity of HAP listed in Table I of 40 CFR 63
Subpart GGGGG within remediation material excavated, extracted, pumped, or otherwise removed during conducted
site remediations at the refinery must be less than I megagram annually. Chevron has qualified for this exemption
throughout the entire reporting period. Pursuant to $63.7881(c), Chevron is not subject to any additional emissions
limitations. work practice standards, or operation and maintenance requirements. This report has been prepared and
submiffed electively as the refinery is not subject to reporting requirements within Subpart GGGGG per $63.7881(c).
