Please share with your team and the Director my appreciaon for both of you and the role you have played in this project.
Dealing with a significant mess created and le by others, with a huge amount of cost and stress to remediate is not something
people necessarily want to complete or even parcipate in. When we began exploring the VCP program nearly a decade ago, we
sll had no idea about the extent or characteriscs of the remnants from historical mining on site. Bill and Dave, you have
created a path forward for the project that exemplifies how the government can control and manage a project while also
successfully working with the owner to reach their goals. You navigated all of the conversaons with integrity and in a way that
the State should exemplify as the standard for working with the public. Although I will not miss the challenges that come with a
VCP site - I will certainly miss the comradery and appreciaon I have for working with you.
