The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed its review of EnergySolutions’ April, 15, 2025 temporaryvariance request to selected specifications of
the Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No.UGW450005 (Permit) Appendix C, CQA Plan for Collection LysimeterConstruction, including administrative title changes and updates to form
number references (CD-2025-074).
After review, EnergySolutions’request for a temporary variance to Appendix C, CQA Plan for Collection Lysimeter Contruction of the Permit is hereby approved. The Division will continue
to evaluate EnergySolutions’ April 2, 2025request to formally modify the requirements of Appendix C, CQA Plan for CollectionLysimeter Construction and Collection Lysimeter Operation,
Maintenance, and Closure Plan (DRC-2025-001197), independently from the approval of this variance.
