Tank 5 will be filled from a future booster pump station (200 gpm) drawing water directly from the culinary distribution system and a designated transmission (10-inch). Tank 5 will then distribute water to the southern end of the development through a series of distribution piping and PRVs to keep pressure below 150 psi. Tank 5 is sized for 1,500 gpm residential fire flow for 2 hours, peaks day demand for 81 ERCs, and additional emergency storage. Tank elevation adequate to serve all present and anticipated future connections Tank located a minimum of 50 lateral feet from sewers Ground within 50 foot radius of tank graded to prevent standing water (ground-level & buried tanks) Site/Location Tank location provides minimum working pressures per R309-105-9 in distribution system Size and Volume Equalization storage volume based on average day demand for indoor and outdoor use Fire suppression storage volume based on local fire authority requirements or 120,000 gal.
