Re: Tanks 848/849 Deeassine Notification
This letter is notification that the Tesoro Refining and Marketing Company, LLC., will be de-
inventorying and degassing Tanks 848 and 849. This notification is being provided in accordance
with the requirements of Utah SIP Section IX. H. I l. g. vi. Tank degassing operations are anticipated
to begin during the week of January 13, 2025 for Tank 848 and February 10, 2025 for Tank 849.
Following degassing operations, the tanks will undergo maintenance activities.
Tank degassing details required by Utah SIP Section IX. H. I l. g. vi are as follows:I. Start date and Time: Week of January 13 and February 10,2025II. Tank owner, address, tank location, and applicable tank permit numbers: Tesoro
Refining and Marketing Company, LLC, 474 West 900 North, Salt Lake City, UT,
84103, refinery tank farm, Permit number DAQE-AN103350075-18.III. Degassing operator's name, contact person, telephone number: USA Debusk, Sergio
Martinez, 424-354-777 9.IV. Tank capacity, volume of space to be degassed, and materials stored each): tank
capacity is approximately 15,000 cubic feet, volume to be degassed is a proximately
15,000 cubic feet, material stored is propane.
V. Description of vapor control device: Thermal oxidizer.
