VCP/Brownfields Section - Site Visit Report

SITE NAME: Chromalox

SITE LOCATION: Ogden

Personnel: Chris Howell (DERR), Tom Daley (RPS),

DATE OF SITE VISIT: October 26, 2022

PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Observe low-flow groundwater sampling.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS: I arrived onsite and signed into the office. Tom was setting up on GMW-22
northwest of the property in the parking lot. Groundwater was purged at the lowest rate possible for
the pump. All parameters and drawdown were stabilized before sampling. Samples were collected in
preserved containers and placed on ice. Metals were filtered in the field, Tom had to be corrected on
the direction of the flow through the filter.

SPLIT SAMPLES COLLECTED: No

IS THE WORK BEING PERFORMED IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE ACCEPTED WORKPLAN?
Will need to compare the data closely with other rounds and verify stabilization. After sampling was
completed I am unsure if flow cell was disconnected prior to sampling. Will also need to review
equipment blank closely.
