Re: Morton Salt, Inc. – Compliance Advisory, No Further Action

On September 24, 2024, the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) sent Morton Salt, Inc., a
Compliance Advisory (DAQC-929-24) for potential violations of the Utah Air Quality Rules. On
January 22, 2025, Morton Salt, Inc., was issued a Replacement-in-Kind letter
(DAQE-GN107260024-25) which resolved the potential violations outlined in the Compliance
Advisory referenced above.

Based on the additional information provided to the DAQ, no further action is required at this
time. Please be aware that closure of this Compliance Advisory does not constitute a bar to
enforcement action for conditions found during other inspections.
