Dear Mr. Edwards:
Re: Request for Evaluation of Compliance with Rule R307-401-9, UAC: Small Source Exemption
Project Fee Code: N162600001
On February 27, 2025, the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) received your request for a small source
exemption for Cascade Collision Repair West Valley Collision Repair Shop. The source is located at 5662 West 4700 South in West Valley City, Salt Lake County. DAQ has determined the small source
exemption applies to the source, as long as the equipment and associated processes operate as specified in
the registration request.
The small source exemption does not exempt a source from complying with other applicable federal,
state, and local regulations and the current Utah Administrative Code. Based on the emissions that you
submitted to DAQ with your registration request, Cascade Collision Repair is not required to obtain an
approval order under R307-401 for the West Valley Collision Repair Shop. If you change your operation
such that there is an increase in emissions, we recommend that you notify us, as an approval order may be
required.
As authorized by the Utah Legislature, the fee for issuing this small source exemption is a one-time filing
fee in addition to the actual time spent by the review engineer and all other staff on the project. Payment
should be sent to DAQ upon receipt of the invoice.

Good Afternoon Katie,
This might be a duplicate request as I sent original package to customer at the end of last year. If it is, please disregard.
Attached is the letter from the customer for Air Quality Exemption Request. This has all the information that has been
requested, same as their St. George, UT location.
Below is the link to my drop box for the product safety data sheets that are required. They cannot be emailed as the file is
too big. Another note for you on these sheets, all locations will have these same sheets as each location uses same
products. This link will stay in my drop box for 30 days. After the 30 days, it will be removed and you will need to request
another link.

Hey Alan,
I'm working with this source for a Small Source Exemption. They have another one they want to apply for and they sent
me the information.
Here is the information they sent me. Would you like to assign this to someone else, or should I work on it?
Cheers,
Katie
