RE: Experimental Approval Order Extension Request for Bio-Oxidation Scrubber at the Owens
Corning, Insulation Manufacturing Facility

On December 13, 2023, the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) received your request for additional time for
the Experimental Approval Order (EAO) for the Bio-Oxidation Scrubber at the Owens Corning,
Insulation Manufacturing Facility, permitted under EAO DAQE-AN141780007-22, dated October 6,
2022. According to your request, experiments have been delayed and additional time is required beyond
the October 6, 2023, date.

DAQ approves the extension request for the Bio-Oxidation Scrubber at the Owens Corning, Insulation
Manufacturing Facility. DAQ requests that Owens Corning submit a final report of results on or before
April 6, 2024. Owens Corning shall conduct the bio-oxidation scrubber operations as per EAO DAQE-
AN141780007-22.
