Dear Director Bird:
lntermountain Power Service Corporation (IPSC) is submitting notification for the use of a portable flare
at the lntermountain Generation Station (lGS). There is an immediate need for this flare to be able to
diagnose some issues with the gas pipeline. The flares will be used at the IGS site starting April 4, 2025. lt
is anticipated that the flare will be used for about ten (10) days.
The approximate flare locations will be near the IGS's east fence line in Millard County, Utah, coordinates
39.510431, -112.565541. The flares will operate up to 24 hours per day to reduce methane emissions from
the pipeline project.

Utley at (435) 854-6489 or mike.utlev@ipsc.com.
I certify that, based on information and belief formed after reasonable inquiry, the statements and
information in this document are true, accurate and complete.
Sincerely,
