INCIDENT SUMMARY
While excavating a sewer line, the reporter encountered soil contaminated with what appeared to be diesel fuel. The contaminated soil is between 8 and
10 ft below ground service. The reporter did not know how much soil was affected.
Update: This is part of an Ogden City construction project on 21 Street, Construction was halted and excavated soil was placed on a tarp. Samples were
collected and sent to ChemTech Ford. BHI will coordinate with the Tanks Clean-up Section.
