For good cause, the Director extended the original due dates for the Order by letter dated July 2, 2024. The Supplier has made good progress towards compliance but has asked for another extension. The Director finds that good cause exists to grant a second extension. As authorized in paragraph 11 of the General Provisions section of the Order, the Director hereby amends the Order as reflected in the attached Appendix A: Amended Initial Order for New Public Water System Schedule UTAH22159 (“2025 Extension Schedule”). Except as provided in the 2025 Extension Schedule, the Order remains in full force and effect. This amendment is effective as of the date it is signed by the Director. Under Utah law, the Director of the Division is required to provide notice of violations of the Utah Safe Drinking Water Act (the “Act”), the rules, or orders and to otherwise enforce compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes violations of the Order (as amended), which remains a final administrative order.
