Hi All,
Attached is the detection summary table for the south trench surface water sample Tetra Tech collected on June 6, 2023.
All detections were below UDEQ Groundwater Quality Standards and Initial Screening Levels except for arsenic, which we continue to
believe is consistent with elevated natural arsenic concentrations in the soil and groundwater. The water meets the requirements for
the Sector N Benchmark Limitations and UTG790000 Effluent Limitations.
In order to complete the next phase of preliminary remedial action and confirmation sampling of the south trench, Recycle Earth
proposes to pump the water from the south trench into Recycled Earth’s temporary detention pond. Tetra Tech staff will be on site to
oversee the trench excavation and perform confirmation sampling, and Ogden City and UDEQ are invited to observe this work. We
propose to conduct this work on June 29, 2023; please confirm if you would like to observe this work and that this date works for you.
