Ground Water Tesng Hi Arthur; Next week is fine as far as getting me a letter report w/ the results. You can send the chain of custody, analytical results, site map of known well locations, notes on SWL or well logs, all together as attachments to the letter report. Depending on the results of the analytical testing, more work may be needed, since MW-4 was the only well able to be sampled, and it was historically upgradient of the localized groundwater flow direction. It would have been nice if MW-2 (the historic "source area") had been able to be developed and sampled, but I understand that it was filled w/ debris since the well cap was missing and had apparently been off for a while. I will wait to review your letter report and then decide what, if anything, is needed to move the project forward to some type of closure, such as an amended Site Management Plan and/or another type of long-term risk management tool. Thanks for your updates on the project. Ground Water Tesng Dale, Tom and I were on site today from 12pm to 1:30pm to do the groundwater sampling. There were two monitoring wells available on site: MW-2 and MW-4. MW-2 was dry. So we didn't take any sample in that well. We have successfully achieved 3 samples from MW-4, aer purging the monitoring well. The samples were immediately sent to the ChemTech-Ford lab in Sandy around 2pm. I have aached the MW-4 well Sampling Log (by AGEC), and the Chain of Custody (from ChemTech-Ford lab). Next week, we will prepare a Memo, along with the tesng results from the lab - if we can get the results by then. During this me, please contact me if you have any quesons. I appreciate your support and understanding. And I look forward to talking with you! I met your attorney, Brad Christopherson, and your environmental engineer, Leo (last name?), on-site on October 18, 2022 to discuss the need for additional data collection from the existing groundwater monitoring wells located at the property. In January of this year, I spoke with Leo about the required analytical testing protocols. However, to date, I have not received any groundwater monitoring report. Before I wrote a notice of reports past due for my Division Director to sign, I wanted to reach out to you for a progress status update. Please provide me with a project status update at your earliest convenience. If I haven't heard back from you by the end of this week, I will have no other choice but to proceed with a notice of non-compliance in order to keep the project moving forward towards a resolution. I hope to hear from you soon. Best regards, -- Dale T.
