Hi Trevor,
Thank you for meeting with Scott and me today to discuss the Moab Base Camp SCW and QAPP.
As a recap, the goal of the meeting was to discuss our comments on the updated documents, mostly related to some of
the formatting and QA/QC elements. We appreciate the work that you have done to incorporate our feedback from our
previous meeting on February 4th.
Key items discussed:
• Frequency and depth of samples (e.g., how PAH samples at depth are chosen, ensuring these samples are also
tested for total metals, and the addition of 2 more duplicate samples for metals)
• Location of rifle range samples, R6-R8, relative to the height of the berm.
• Request for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Chain of Custody for metal samples.
• Details on the Correlation and calibration of the XRF (including an SOP for XRF).
• Site-specific target values for the PARCCS parameters and other QA/QC samples.
• Decontamination procedures for PAHs.
• Including contacts for SITLA and the DERR.
• QAPP EPA Crosswalk (e.g., Data Review, Verification, and Validation).

referenced during our meeting. Please let me know when you'd like to schedule a follow-up to review the updated
documents.
