Potential UST at The Other Side Village Phase 2

Hi Chris,
I was just made aware of a potential UST out at the Redwood Road Dump Landfill (outside of Phase I but likely within
Phase 2 boundaries). I was told by someone from SLC Parks and Public Lands (who operates to the north) about it this
morning. They recall hearing about a tank installed by SLC Public Utilities about 5 or 6 years ago, likely near the existing
sewer line. The property for phase 2 essentially goes right up to the fence line, so it is likely that this tank will be in the
VCP boundary.
I've attached a map of the landfill with the sewer line and the approximate area where we believe this tank is located (in
yellow). I've also included a map with the Phase 2 boundary.
Does your team have any information related to this UST?

Allison,
I am following up on our conversation just now. I am unaware of any tanks buried in this area, and we do not have any
record of any tanks in our database. It seems unlikely that they would have been buried within the last 5-6 years but do
not have any associated dispensers or visible fill ports. If you do more investigation and do find a tank, please let us know
so we can document it and assist with the closure.
