Re: Compliance Advisory, No Further Action – Western Metals Recycling

On June 27, 2024, the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) sent Western Metals Recycling a
Compliance Advisory (DAQC-622-24) for potential violations of the Utah Air Quality Rules.

On January 15, 2025, Western Metals Recycling was issued Approval Order (AO)
DAQE-AN105320006-25 which resolved the potential violations outlined in the Compliance
Advisory referenced above. Based on the additional information provided to the DAQ, no further
action is required at this time. Please be aware that closure of this Compliance Advisory does not
constitute a bar to enforcement action for conditions found during other inspections.
