Bryan Spink Zion Under Canvas 211 Yukon Lane, bldg. 3 Belgrade, MT 59714 Subject: Notice of Decreased Monitoring for Zion Under Canvas; UTAH27107 J. Bryan Spink: This letter serves as notification that chemical monitoring at the Zion Under Canvas Well (identified as WS001) is no longer required. Sampling requirements will be fulfilled through sampling at the Zion Under Canvas RO Plant No CL (DI) (TP001). A recent statewide audit was conducted on all source monitoring schedules to ensure conformity with applicable portions of R309-205. During the review, the Division of Drinking Water (the Division) found that duplicate monitoring requirements were assigned to the Zion Canvas Well (identified as WS001) and the Zion Under Canvas RO Plant No CL (DI) (TP001). Pursuant to R309-205 and R309-215-6, only the Zion Under Canvas RO Plant No CL (DI) (TP001) is required to be sampled for nitrate, sulfate, sodium and TDS. The updated monitoring requirements for this source are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the water monitoring section.
