Dear Tony Spackman:The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received a request for an Operating Permit for the Canyon Meadows Distribution Overhaul from your consultants, Paul Berg,
P.E. of Berg Engineering and Matt Laurendeau, P.E. of Jones & Demille Engineering on March 28, 2025. The Division issued Plan Approval After-the-Fact for this project on November 18,
2021. Our understanding of the project was the installation of new 8-inch diameter PVC (C900) water lines. New fire hydrants will be placed throughout the water system. Existing PRVs
will be removed and replaced with new PRV stations that match the Jordanelle Special Service Districts Standards.
We have received the following information for the Canyon Meadows Distribution System Overhaull:
Certification of Rule Conformance with plan approval conditions by a professional engineer Paul Berg, P.E. dated March 27, 2025.
As-built drawings.
Satisfactory bacteriological results as evidence of proper disinfection and flushing.
Evidence of O&M manual delivery.
We have determined that all conditions for operating permit issuance have been met. On this basis, an Operating Permit for the Canyon Meadows Distribution Overhaulis hereby issued as
constituted by this letter. You may now place the water linesin service in your water system.
Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
