Subject: Notice of Decreased Monitoring for Kanaraville Town Water System; UTAH11006 John Willard Batty:
This letter serves as notification that quarterly monitoring for radionuclides and toluene is no
longer required at Town Well #3 (identified as WS004). A radionuclide sample is now due once every nine years and a volatile organics sample is now due annually. The next radionuclide sample is due sometime between January 1, 2029, and December 31, 2037.
The next volatile organics sample is due sometime between January 1, 2025 and December 31,
2025. Following the issuance of an operating permit, Knaaraville Town Water System has collected a sufficient amount of radionuclide and toluene samples to qualify for reduced monitoring under
R309-205.
The updated monitoring requirements for this source is given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the water monitoring section.
