Subject: Notice of Decreased Monitoring, Grouped Source Sampling Station for Grantsville City ; UTAH23002
Christy Montierth:
On February 3, 2025, Christy Montierth notified the Division of Drinking Water (the Division) that the South Willow Well (identified as WS005) and the Hunsaker Well (WS006) combine in the South Willow Well Tank (ST004) prior to servicing any service connections. This
configuration qualifies the South Willow Well and Hunsaker Well to be sampled for contaminants defined in R309-205 collectively from the outflow of the tank. Samples shall be pulled during periods when both sources are actively supplying water to the distribution system.
A sampling location which represents the South Willow Well (WS005) and Hunsaker Well
(WS006) wells has been created under the name “Sampling Station – 01 02” (identified as SS001). Please label all samples collected from the location as SS001 on the facility and sample point ID columns.
The updated monitoring requirements for the Sampling Station – 05 06 (SS001) are given below.
An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water
