According to the Division of Drinking Waters (the Division) records the past eight quarters of VOC samples have shown no detections. These results qualify Well #3 (WS003) for reduced VOC monitoring, in which one VOC sample is due in every three-year compliance cycle. The next VOC sample is due sometime between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2028. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the water monitoring section. Additionally, the Division has resources to assist water systems in completing the PFAS initial monitoring requirements. For more information on the resources the division can provide related to PFAS initial monitoring please visit ddwpfas.utah.gov. For PFAS related questions, please contact John Steffan at jtsteffan@utah.gov or (385) 499-3926. Thank you for your efforts in maintaining a safe drinking water system.
