Dear Mr. Crim,

On behalf of Chevron Environmental Management Company (CEMC), Arcadis U.S., Inc. (Arcadis) respectfully
requests and extension on the report of findings on the Post-Remedial Soil Study (study). Arcadis is currently
working with Salt Lake City to amend an access agreement for completion of the study. Pending site access
approval, Arcadis will initiate the study at the earliest opportunity and availability of subcontractors. Once
scheduling has been confirmed, Arcadis will notify the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation of
the schedule. As timing of these variables is unknown, Arcadis respectfully requests an extension of 120 days
following initiation of the study.
