Chris,
Please see attached memorandum summarizing the progress of remedial actions at the former Antimony Mill in Antimony
Canyon about 5.5 miles to the east-southeast of the town of Antimony in Garfield County, Utah.
We have included a brief description and some photographs of remedial actions along with a summary of the
volume/mass of impacted material removed, transported, and disposed at the Garfield County Landfill near Panguitch,
Utah.
As noted in the memorandum, we plan to complete the remaining removal/disposal actions this Spring as the weather
permits. Based on field and laboratory results, the remaining area of impact includes a relatively small strip at the base of
the former mill along the south side of Forest Road 138.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
Brett

Brett,
Thank you for submitting the attached Summary of Remedial Actions at the Antimony Mill VCP Site. I hereby accept the
document under the VCP and will add it to the administrative file. As conditions improve in May or June of this year please
keep me apprised of the upcoming field schedule to complete the remedial work on site.
Moving forward, we should discuss the long term site management elements such as a checklist, that will be
incorporated into the Dixie National Forest Plan to manage any material left in place exceeding unrestricted land
use levels. This should also address unknowns under the foundations if they are ever removed in the future.
Regards,
Chris
